Macron charms America: an unexpected friendship with Trump
i24NEWS ·
On the i24NEWS set with Julien Bahloul, on the eve of Emmanuel Macron's state visit to the United States: a rare prime-time interview on Fox News, his fluent English, French recipes and late-night sketches, a red carpet from liberals and conservatives alike, and a friendship with Donald Trump that began with a fierce handshake in Brussels in 2017 and grew through Bastille Day, the Eiffel Tower dinner and the coordinated strikes on Syria, ahead of his address to Congress.
